The five Zorph stages

Every stage is a single check against public Solana data for one address. The checks are made in order, live, each time the studio opens. There is no list of wallets, no points table and no prize behind any of them: reaching a stage changes the drawing and nothing else.

Connect a wallet, unlock stages, evolve a creature

Zorph turns a plain wallet into something with a face. The game has no sign-up form, no social tasks and no waiting list. Your address is the only input, the public chain is the only judge, and the rules are short enough to check by hand.

It is built for the weeks before $ZORPH goes live. Instead of collecting follows or handing out scarce invites, the game lets anyone with a Solana wallet see something of their own right away, then watch it change as their wallet changes. A fresh wallet hatches as an egg; a busy one walks in close to its final shape.

  1. 01

    Connect

    Open the studio and connect Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or any wallet that speaks the Solana wallet standard. Prefer to look first? Paste any Solana address and watch it instead, read-only.

  2. 02

    Unlock

    The studio reads four public facts about the address from Solana and ticks off each stage whose rule is met. Every check shows the number it saw next to the number it needs.

  3. 03

    Evolve

    Press Evolve and your creature grows, stage by stage, up to the highest one unlocked. Save it as a profile picture or a share card. Nothing leaves your browser.

Stage 1 of 5

Seed: every address starts here

Rule
Any valid Solana address. Connecting a wallet or pasting an address is enough.
Read from
The address itself. No read needed.
What changes
A speckled shell with one eye peeking through the crack. Colours come from your address.

Stage 2 of 5

Sprout: a funded wallet

Rule
The address holds at least 0.01 SOL right now.
Read from
getBalance on Solana mainnet, read when you open the studio or press Read again.
What changes
The shell opens. A soft body, eyes and a first antenna appear.

Stage 3 of 5

Shell: a wallet with a history

Rule
The address has at least 10 transactions on record.
Read from
getSignaturesForAddress with a limit of 10; failed transactions count too.
What changes
Back plates and a belly patch grow in, plus small feet.

Stage 4 of 5

Spark: a wallet that holds tokens

Rule
The address holds 3 or more different SPL tokens with a balance above zero.
Read from
getTokenAccountsByOwner for the Token and Token-2022 programs, counting distinct mints.
What changes
Arms, cheek marks and a bulb on the antenna. Small sparks float around it.

Stage 5 of 5

Zorph: holding $ZORPH

Rule
The address holds any amount of $ZORPH. Opens once the token address is published.
Read from
getTokenAccountsByOwner filtered to the $ZORPH mint from the site config.
What changes
The full form: crest fins, a ring behind it and a curled tail.

Check any address yourself

The studio asks one small endpoint on this site for the numbers. It is open, needs no key and returns exactly what the studio shows: the raw reading, each check and the stage reached. It only reads; it is rate limited per network to keep the public RPC friendly.

Prefer not to trust us at all? Every number can be repeated with a block explorer or a plain JSON-RPC call to any Solana endpoint, using the methods listed above.

GET /api/stages?address=<solana address>

{
  "reading": {
    "sol": 0.42,
    "transactions": 10,
    "tokens": 3,
    "zorph": null,
    "launched": false
  },
  "checks": [ { "id": "seed", "state": "met" }, … ],
  "stage": 4
}

Your wallet is read, never asked to sign

Connecting to Zorph shares your public address with the page and nothing more. The studio never requests a signature, a transaction or a token approval. The four numbers it uses are the same ones any block explorer shows for your address, read through public Solana RPC endpoints.

Want to try it without connecting at all? Paste any address into the studio and watch it read-only. That also lets you check a friend's creature, or your own cold wallet, without plugging anything in.

What the studio reads

  • SOL balance (getBalance)
  • Up to 10 recent transaction signatures
  • Token accounts with a balance above zero
  • $ZORPH balance, once the token exists

What it never does

  • Ask for a signature or a transaction
  • Request approvals or move tokens
  • Store your address or your stage
  • Rank wallets or keep a list of them
ZRP Example code
WDXABVP3

Every address has one of these. Typing a friend's code mixes their colours into your creature.

Splice codes mix looks between friends

Each address gets an eight-character code worked out from the address itself. Hand yours to a friend, take theirs, and type it into the console in the studio: the accent colour and the body pattern of their creature are spliced into yours, while the stage stays whatever your own wallet earned.

Codes are not invitations and are not scarce. They gate nothing, they can be used by anyone any number of times, and clearing the splice brings your original look straight back.

Edge cases, answered plainly

A read failed. Does my creature drop a stage?

A failed read is shown as “Could not read”, never as “Not yet”. The creature stops at that stage for this visit; press Read again in the studio, or come back later. Public RPC endpoints have rate limits and sometimes answer slowly.

I moved my SOL out. What happens?

Stages follow the wallet as it is now. If the balance drops under the threshold, the next read shows Sprout as not met and the creature is drawn at the stage before it. Nothing was ever stored, so there is nothing to lose either.

Which tokens count for Spark?

Any SPL token account owned by the address with a balance above zero, under the Token program or the Token-2022 program. Several accounts of the same mint count once. $ZORPH counts too once it exists. Closed and empty accounts do not count.

Do failed transactions count for Shell?

Yes. The read asks Solana for the latest 10 signatures that touched the address, and failed transactions are part of that history. The studio never looks further back than that.

Can the rules change?

The thresholds live in one file in the site code and are printed on this page from that same file. If they ever change, this page changes with them and the change will be announced first. Nobody is ranked by stage, so a change never takes anything away from anyone.

Questions people ask about Zorph

What is Zorph?

Zorph is a wallet evolution game on Solana with its own token, $ZORPH. You connect a wallet, the site reads a few public numbers about it, and a small creature drawn from your address grows through five stages. The rules for every stage are published on the stages page.

How does Zorph work?

Three steps. Connect a Solana wallet, or paste any address to look without connecting. The studio then reads the balance, the transaction count, the tokens held and, after launch, the $ZORPH balance straight from Solana. Each passed check unlocks the next stage, and pressing Evolve walks your creature up to the highest one.

Do I have to sign anything or approve a transaction?

No. The studio only reads public chain data. It never asks your wallet to sign a message or send a transaction, and it never requests token approvals. If a site that looks like this one asks you to sign, close it.

What are the five stages?

Seed (any address), Sprout (at least 0.01 SOL), Shell (10 or more transactions), Spark (3 or more different tokens held) and Zorph (holding any $ZORPH, which opens once the token address is published). They are checked in order, so a creature stops at the first check that fails.

Do stages give rewards, airdrops or a spot on a list?

No. A stage only changes how your creature looks. There is no allocation, no whitelist, no points and no promise attached to any stage. The site does not even store who reached what: everything is computed again each time you open the studio.

How do I buy $ZORPH?

$ZORPH is planned to launch on pump.fun. Every buy button on this site opens pump.fun, and the contract address appears in the header, the footer and on the token page once it is published. Until then the copy buttons say "At launch". Only trust the address shown here and posted by @zorph.

Which network is Zorph on?

Solana mainnet. Stage checks use standard Solana RPC reads, and $ZORPH will be an SPL token.

Is Zorph audited?

Not yet, and there is no smart contract of ours to audit: the game runs on public reads and drawing in your browser, and $ZORPH will be a standard token minted through pump.fun. The site code can be reviewed once the public repository is published.

What is a splice code?

Every address has its own eight-character code. Type a friend's code into the console in the studio and their colours and pattern are mixed into your creature. Codes unlock nothing and are not scarce; they are only a way to share a look.
